Sun Valley's second Christmas season was celebrated by the opening of the Challenger Inn in 1937. Renamed the Sun Valley Inn in the early Seventies, Sun Valley's second hotel was inspired by the movie set for Paramount's "I Met Him In Paris," filmed near the resort in 1937. Today, the hotel provides 109 rooms and the resort's new state of the art Convention Center.
