South America Ski Vacations and Resort Details

Lenas, Argentina boasts more skiable terrain than any other ski resort in North
or South America. Though Las Lenas is the favorite ski resort in Argentina for
North America skiers, it is certainly not the only resort. Other ski resorts in
Argentina include Bariloche in the Lakes region. Traveling through the gateway city of Buenos Aires can be just as fun as the skiing at the resorts.
 The
excitement of skiing in Chile is due in part to the proximity for the resorts
to Santiago, your gateway to the Chilean ski resorts. Two hours northeast of Santiago
lies Portillo, the most famous ski resort in the Andes. Valle Nevado is a huge ski area just 45 miles from Santiago. Termas de Chillan is famous for both skiing and its natural hot springs.
