- Experience in the Ski Travel Business: Since I began skiing at the age of two, I can only remember the best ski vacations I enjoyed with my family. Those vacations were a result of making the perfect lodging choices, knowing where lessons met at each mountain and what trails were best for our family to ski together. After 15 years of traveling and skiing many different ski resorts, I have the knowledge to help make your ski trip the BEST.
- Best Tip for the Perfect Ski Vacation: Relax! You are on vacation. Things don’t get any better than that. A day of skiing beats any day in the office! Come prepared for the cold days in January and the spring skiing days in March. Your core temperature really dictates the kind of day you are going to have. Make sure you are well rested. If you don’t arrive to your destination until the early hours of the morning, plan on sleeping in and skiing a half day or maybe even taking the first day off. You will enjoy your trip so much more!
- Favorite Ski Resort: Aspen Highlands
- Favorite Apres Ski Bar: The Bag and Kettle, Sugarloaf, ME – The Brown Bag Ale is the Best!
- Favorite Lodging Property: The Lodge at Mountaineer Square, Crested Butte
- Favorite Resort Restaurant: Pacifica, Aspen
- My best ski day was: Ajax (Aspen Mtn.)…January 2008. It snowed two feet of freshies the night before and it was still dumping pretty hard by the time the lifts opened. The first run down was knee deep powder and it was incredible. By noon, ski patrol had opened most of the gated terrain for the first time that season. I took one of the first tracks in Bingo Glade in waist deep powder with snow flying over my head and in my mouth. Face shots galore…there is no place I would rather be.
