2006. After a typical 2 foot, overnight Chilean springtime dump, I awoke
to the sound of avi bombs. A quick peek out of my lakeview room and I could
see that I was in for a dandy day. Surrounded by the magnificent Andes,
the bluest of skies and Condors circling overhead, we did four laps on the
Lake Run (heli-ski runs without the need for the heli part) and relaxed
in the hottub to trade stories of the day's turns with people from around
the world.
