Thanks to the Victorian charm of Aspen, the slopeside allure of Snowmass and the scenic wonder that is alpine Colorado, Aspen/Snowmass remains the soul of mountain culture in North America. Although it sounds impossible - sixty-plus years since cranking up its first chairlift - the skiing and riding here is only getting better:
Snowmass is undergoing an ambitious renaissance, resulting in quicker lift rides, a new base village and the new Treehouse Kids Adventure Center - the first of its kind in the snowsports industry. On the lodging front, over $36 million in existing property renovations are taking place for 2007-2008. Over $100 million has been invested in Aspen/Snowmass existing property renovations in just the last three seasons. Snowmass continues its renaissance with two new restaurants - Sam's and Sneaky's - as well as a new Sheer Bliss quad chairlift.
Aspen Mountain's new gondola cabins are still 'wowing' guests with floor-to-ceiling windows and Aspen Highlands is still impressing visitors with Deep Temerity: 1,700 vertical feet of advanced, expert and extreme terrain.
Buttermilk continues to cater to families when it's not hosting the world's biggest winter festival - ESPN Winter X Games! With quadruple peaks-Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk-Aspen/Snowmass goes off by a Power of Four!

For the 2008-2009 season, Aspen/Snowmass is still celebrating The Treehouse Kids Adventure Center at Snowmass – the height of family adventure! Just a year old and designed for kids of all ages, this amazing 25,000-square-foot facility is sure to create a lifetime of memories. Scale the Aspen Leaf Climber in the Aspen Climb Room, explore the Bear Den with your preschoolers or snuggle with your infants and toddlers in the Butterfly Room—hands-on, age-specific activities keep everyone engaged and excited to be in the mountains. The Treehouse is truly a world unto itself, conveniently located and ideally appointed for family fun! At $17 million, The Treehouse is the single biggest capital improvement project in the history of the resort.
As always, kids ages 6 & under ski/ride for FREE on all four Aspen/Snowmass mountains.
Ski or ride four unique and epic mountains on just one lift ticket – a combined total of 5,303 acres of terrain, eight terrain parks (with two superpipes and two beginner pipes), and 336 trails served by 46 lifts.
